Part of being a parent, to me, is being healthy. Healthy in body and mind, as much as you can be. I won't say it is easy but it is definitely worth it. The strength, energy, stamina and ability to lug kids and groceries and get a better nights sleep all because I exercise on a regular basis makes me feel a thousand times saner and balanced. Plus, my kids love the ridiculous insanity of the kid zone at the gym. It's a win-win.
