A Vote for Confidence

It would be real easy to say that this blog is not political. What with the What I Wore Wednesday posts and constant blather about nail polish but it really can't be denied.   I have a child named after one President. His photo hangs on her bedroom wall right next to this sign in her  window.  Her sister who sleeps in the bunk below her is named after a suffragist imprisoned by President Wilson in a jail right near our home. Are You Registered to Vote?

October 12 is the last day to register to vote in my state, Virginia. Do you know the last day to register in your own state?  Are you registered, do you know what you need when you go to the polls on November 6, this year?  You better find out fast.  If you aren't registered yet, take some time to think about why you haven't done it and read this post from the past. For Goodness Sake Think of Alice Paul! Less than 100 years ago women fought for the right to vote. They fought long and hard battles staging protests and strikes in front of the White House.
