Every summer I have a few items that are on my top 3 must-have for summer list. In the last few years I noticed a pattern. While trends may come and go, there are a few particular items I find I am always gravitating towards. I may buy an upgrade or replenish a worn item but these three staples are my ‘Top 3 Summer Must-Haves‘.

The addition of white nail polish is new. It’s a hot trend this summer that feels really fresh. I tested it out last date night and adored the look enough to keep it going another week. I was given the Nars lip pencil as a Sephora “It’s Your Birthday” gift and it goes on so slick without a high shine that it is like satin. They call it velvet matte, I call it awesome. I love it! I think you can add your own style with the sunglasses and sandals but to me this look combination of a striped shirt, denim shorts with sunnies and sandals never goes out of style.

Ellen, I thought the same thing at first! But I like ones that are a bit sheer or have a very slight tint of beige to counteract that. Urban Jungle by essie is another good one.

I’ve never tried putting white nail polish for the whole nail. It would be a cool look, though. It has the added plus of going well with whatever color of clothes that you happen to be wearing. I need to get a white and black shirt like this, though. It’s really cute.
So agree with this! But white polish just seem to not look good with my skin tone so I think I’ll go for a pink shade
