It’s not often that I get a little spring staycation of my own. That’s exactly what happened when the girls went to my parents house for a few days over spring break. Can you say hours of reading, no work, napping and eating all the tasty foods I love? So needed!
It kicked off nicely with María José from Very Busy Mama and I spending the day at National Harbor to take in the sights (Oh, the waterview!), eat a fabulous lunch and have a bit of spa and me time at the Gaylord National‘s Relache Spa.
Two Bloggers + One Day= Total Bliss
As María José is a fashion blogger too I knew I had to look good. The weather was warm, we spent a lot of time by the water but I knew we were going to be spending a large chunk of time at the spa too. What to wear. Easy, stylish and comfortable.
Flats for comfort and a mix of neutrals with a sweet pink clutch that reminded me of the Cherry Blossoms blooming all over the city that week. It was perfect for our day out. Don’t forget the sunnies!
