So often you can easily write off the fashion and beauty industry as being frivolous, overly commercial and empty. I know that many people outright laugh when I tell them that I love to write about nail polish and handbags. I’m not a globe-trotting journalist or making the most of my DC location and writing about the daily political happenings. I like lighter fare. And I do believe it makes a difference with someone, somewhere.
And I am not saying that the following video is going to bring about world peace or end hunger. But I don’t think you can deny it does convey a beautiful message and a sense of power in its beauty. It is a well done video about a product most people don’t give a lot of thought to on a daily basis. Unless you are me or any of these people. It’s executed with style and goes beyond the norm. I love it.
