They say that there are certain moments when you just know that a person is right for you. I believe this statement to be true too.
About two weeks into knowing H, on a rainy Saturday afternoon, I called him up to see what he wanted to do later that night. When I asked him what he was doing at that moment he said, “I’m watching When Harry Met Sally on TV. I love this movie!” It was the same thing I was doing while talking to him. We both laughed about it and how we had to watch it together via phone until at least the ‘Casablanca’ scene with they are also on the phone watching a movie.
It was then that I knew. I knew this guy was different and someone I wanted to know more. It’s been 14 years.
We still like watching this movie together. I’m a sucker for ‘You’ve Got Mail’ every time it is on TV and ‘Sleepless in Seattle’ too.
