I was obviously still feeling my basics look when I put this outfit on last week.  I like that the colors and style of it are versatile neutrals for every season. When paired with other styles of shoes or accessories they can be worn all year long. Cold Weather Skin Remedies with Masque Bar Masks

Source: Victoria Mason Now that January has come and gone we realize oh wait, there is still more winter.  That means dry skin and the need for cold weather skin remedies with Masque Bar Masks. I have said it before and I will say it again and again.  You can never go wrong with basics.  This month I am all about them and keeping life simple and that starts with styling black pants. The 'basics rule' is never more practical and easy to follow than with work wear.  Whether you are starting out your work wardrobe, need to simplify it or freshen it up, the basics are where it is at, and no piece is more versatile than a pair of black pants. 2016 Nissan Maxima SR

The 2016 Nissan Maxima SR is not your average sedan. Who doesn't want a little more of that in their world? Striped Shirt Worn Two Ways

Last week I talked about getting back to basics.  This week it is all about my go-to piece, the striped shirt worn two ways. I find myself grabbing this SheIn White Black Striped Loose T-shirt often.  It isn't just ridiculously cute but so comfortable to wear. It is so soft and long and it works with almost everything in my closet.  I'm in love with it.  No surprise. It's a striped shirt, after all. 2016 Volvo S60 T5 Inscription

Source: Victoria Mason When I found out I was reviewing the 2016 Volvo S60 T5 Inscription, I was elated.  My first car was a 1984 Volvo 240 DL and I loved it like you love any first car.  I drove that brown 4-door sedan through college until I could not get her to move anymore.  It was a sad day when I had to move on even if it was to a brand new vehicle.  The Volvo was my baby and I never forgot her. Fast forward to 2016 and I was excited but apprehensive about this latest Volvo. Back to Basics

January, it is not my best month.  It's gray, rainy, cold and I just want to hibernate and wear thick over-sized sweaters, boots and jeans.  I loathe being cold.  This month always sends me back to basics, which brings me to this latest look.
