What I Wore Wednesday

Visiting the pumpkin patch last week was a fun way to spend the evening and shirk bath time for one night and indulge in some pizza from our favorite local pizzeria.  It was an unusually warm day and here is what I wore- … [Read more...]

Half Marathon edition! I went to Hersheypark this past weekend to partcipate in the Herhsey Half Marathon that benefits the Children's Miracle Network. It was a terrific race and my girlfriend and I had lots of fun in the park and playing catch up the day before. … [Read more...]

What I Wore Wednesday

Last week was hard.  There were many doctor appointments, phone calls to be made, insurance questions to be answered and I just felt like a used up dish rag most days.  To combat that feeling I went outside my comfort zone and paired my yellow jeans with a bright fuschia sweater and then went further adding a belt and leopard print flats. You know what?  It worked. I may look dead tired and frazzled but I didn't feel it quite so much.  That right there is why I love fashion. What I Wore Wednesday

I had the cutest outfit all planned out.  I wore it actually and felt so fantastic in it all day. I was about to take a picture of myself in it when I realized that my youngest needed a diaper change.  No details but the outfit didn't survive.  I was crushed quite frankly.  No pictures.  I can only describe it.  Even Polyvore couldn't help me with possible photos.  It was a fashion tradgedy, people!  The bright green capri pants with the pewter ballet flats and matching bow-front belt looked so cute with a ruffled navy polo and my still glowing summer skin.  Alas, it was not meant to be. Fall is here now.  Let's see what I wore! … [Read more...]

What I Wore Wednesday

This week the temps are all over the place! Sixties one day and high 80's the next so bringing out the fall clothes or wearing any new things has been hard.  I have packed away the sandals though. I'm just not going back.  It is time to bring on the boots!  I'm on a search for a fantastic orange sweater, which never fails to cheer me. Quick poll- If you buy a pair of colored pants or jeans which do you choose?   Bright Blue or Red?  I can't decide. Now on to What I Wore Wednesday … [Read more...]

Owls are big this year in fashion and home decor. I found this fun one mixed in with a bunch of my grandmother's costume jewelery and decided it was just perfect for a casual day with the kids and working at home. … [Read more...]

The Black & White Edition I was all about getting in my last bit of whites in the past week.  Not that you can't wear white after Labor Day but old habits do die hard.  One day it was white shorts, one last time, I hope. I'm sick of shorts.  Really sick of them. I yearn for jeans and cords right now. … [Read more...]

What I Wore Wednesday

We are truly in the lackluster days of summer. I'm putting forth no effort other than to get work done, not harm people at the grocery store while shopping with three kids (last week of it!) and getting us all ready to go back to school, dance and a bazillion other things that life has thrown at us lately. And if you want to know how to clean your car after you lose a full gallon of milk in it for 3 days.  Just ask!  It happened. It leaked. It still smells like cat barf. While I continue processing all this and everything else take a look at what I'm wearing! … [Read more...]

Simple Wishes for Fall

I'm sorry did you come here for some pumpkin spice latte or an apple cinnamon muffin?  Were you looking for a cozy cup of cider to bring in the new fall season? Sorry, we have none of that here. Instead it is all about items I am loving/wanting/needing for fall 2012.  I personally think a good pair of biker boots will get you through the foliage better than a chai latte and pumpkin whoopie pie, but that is just me. … [Read more...]
