I had no idea this would be the case and only an inkling when it arrived at my front door. Immediately I was drawn in by its grill, a style that has become increasingly popular with other brands, and its 'Soul Red' color. Moving inside I found another reason to love the Mazda6. The interior seat styling in almond leather is not just nice to look at and feel but it gives the car a sportier look that took it a step beyond regular sedan. Black Lace and Winter White
The Mazda holiday party also known as my work party for this year was held on a gorgeous twinkly night by the water. I couldn't resist the urge to pair my black knee-high boots with a black lace bell sleeve top and my high-waisted nautical flare pants in a chic winter white. Mazda MX-5 Miata. WAPA Rally 2016 Favorites
Ah, the WAPA Rally. Quite possibly my favorite event of the year with this group. If you are new here, WAPA stands for Washington Automotive Press Association, and I am a member. Every October we gather together to spend the day driving cars from many automotive makers and it is ridiculously fun and informative. This year the WAPA Rally was no exception as it was held in Kent Island, Maryland. Just off the Bay Bridge the views were stunning and provided gorgeous backdrops for car photos and plenty of scenic drives. What did I love at this year's WAPA Rally? 2016 Fiat 500X Lounge AWD
Source: Victoria Mason "It's so cute!" I heard that phrase again and again as I posted pictures of the Fiat 500X Lounge on social media or when entering or exiting the SUV. Yes, it is considered an SUV, but a subcompact one. No one expected me to tell them that about this tiny car but it is larger than the you would think while still looking pint-sized and stylish. All new for 2016 the Fiat 500X Lounge AWD arrived at my door in all its 'Bianco Gelato' glory. That's White Clear Coat for the rest of us but the Italian style must be mentioned and used. It's more fun to call the color 'Bianco Gelato', don't you think? I loved its look instantly. Whatcha Wear to the WAPA Rally
Last Thursday I finally crawled out from under my deathbed, finally feeling better (!) just in time to attend one of my favorite events of the year, The WAPA Rally. WAPA is The Washington Automotive Press Association and I've been a member for a few years now. Each October we take to the roads and get to drive some of the newest, most luxurious, most fun and just plain awesome cars in the industry. This year was no exception. I drove everything from a Mercedes-Maybach S600 to a F-Type Jaguar coupe, a Ford Explorer and Edge to a Volvo XC90 and a few more in between. It was a glorious fall day and I was dressed to drive. 2014 KIA Sorento SX AWD

From the outside the Sorento looked so similar in size, color and shape to the previously reviewed SUV from the week before that no one could tell the difference. After two days of driving the Sorento the differences could not be ignored. Redesigned for 2014 the Kia Sorento SX with AWD is drastically different in look and feel. Not much of the old model was left behind, which was I think is a step in the right direction.
