When we moved into our new home a few months ago it was the dead of winter. Sure, we liked the looks of the neighborhood but what about the people who lived in all those pretty houses? We had no clue and hoped for the best.
Fast forward through spring when a neighbor brought us cookies, many hours spent at the pool meeting new faces and doing something that is so rare for me- joining a committee, the neighborhood social committee (gasp! avert your introvert eyes!) and suddenly we were making friends and falling in love with a community and not just a group of houses joined together by a set of property lines. Our latest get together was a Saturday night Cornhole tournament, something I’ve never done, but had a lot of fun helping set up and then playing.
And by the way, what do you wear to a Cornhole tournament, anyway?
H and I were team ‘Shucking Amazing’. We lost round one, but dominated the Losers Bracket for a while.
Good thing Lee Jeans gifted me with a pair of Frenchie Skinny jeans in Platinum Gray. When they arrived I knew that they would be perfect for the tournament. They come in SEVEN washes including a dark floral that is awesome. They are super soft, lightweight with some stretch for getting in long shots and doing victory dance moves (indeed!) they worked beautifully with the black and white plaid tunic I found earlier in the week at Target. I know, I couldn’t stop myself. It was so cozy feeling!
Love the thin gold thread running through this plaid shirt. The mix of black and gold is really big for this winter.

I have never heard of a corn hole tournament before. It sounds like you live in a great community though. Love your outfit, I wore a very similar one not long ago.
