Our new home!

We had our first actual snow day!  I had to take pictures of the house and the kids in the yard and after a very windy weekend down by the water (so long outfit pics!  No way I’m taking photos in 40 mph winds and -8 temps.) I just knew this was going to be my Wednesday post.

I’m pretty basic in my snow gear.  I’ve had the same pair of ski pants since before the kids. I consider a personal triumph each winter when I can still put them on and play in the snow comfortably.  Proof that my hard work all year round keeps me fit.  Here are some of my favorite winter weather gear items.

    I haven’t seen snow since I moved from Michigan 4 years ago. I miss it. Looks like a great snow day. Your gorgeous girls enjoyed it. Beautiful photos, mamma. =)

      Ha! THANK YOU!!! It was like a miracle and magic that we found it and were able to move into it, Shanna. It reminds me of the Home Alone house a bit. I fell in love with it the minute I saw it online and piled the kids in the car and drove to it immediately. Once I saw it in person it was like magic- I saw our lives unfolding in it. It was so weird. 5 months later we were able to finally move in. Worth the wait!
