Two products are up this week. It isn’t often that I find two items that I like to use on first test. Many times things get repurposed or serve as a back up to my preferred products but this week blow pro dry texture spray and Pacifica Coconut Kiss Lip Butter ended up front and center on my bathroom counter. They are still there a few weeks later being used daily.

Pacifica Natural Minerals Coconut Kiss Creamy Lip Butter ($10) gives long lasting color with hydration that is 100% natural and infused with coconut oil. I love that it is free of petroleum, carmine, parabens and FD & C color. Who wants that on their lips? Full of antioxidants it is cruelty free and 100% vegan too. I put it on first thing in the morning and it adds a bit of color to my lips while making them super soft. A few hours later they are still soft and with a hint of color, even after eating. It comes in five shades Blissed Out a warm plum, Lava a deep sheer red (shown and the one I use), Stardust a silver nude tone, Shell a matte pink, and Sunset a coral with soft gold tones infused into it.
I liked it so much I packed it on my last trip. I didn’t want to be without it. I use it before my workouts and it doesn’t dry out or cake up afterwards. It is a great solid lip butter.
I am obsessed with dry shampoo. I typically have 3-4 bottles of it in my bathroom at any given time and that doesn’t include travel sizes. While I have my hands down favorites there is always room for testing! The blowpro dry texture spray ($19.75, 5.6 oz., $9.50, 2 oz.) is invisible first and foremost. No white residue to mess with your hair. I have such issue with that. I’m a blond but I don’t need to look platinum or as if I’m prematurely going gray. It dries fast and is incredibly light. It adds lift, volume and yes, loads of texture. I use it every few days to perk up my style mid-day or add some texture and volume when I style it first thing in the morning. It has no greasy residue or stiffness either. It is really versatile. It helps control oil on my fine, oil-prone hair and really refreshes it. Perfect for after the gym!
