Why do I love what I do? For moments like the one my family and I enjoyed this past Saturday night when we got the chance to go to the sold-out Boo at the Zoo at the National Zoo in Washington, DC. While I have always wanted to take the girls I wasn’t into the whole toting wee ones around in the dark past bedtime, but they are older now. When Ugg Australia contacted me last week asking if the whole family wanted to pick out some new shoes and trek around tricking and treating at the zoo, I did not hesitate.
It wasn’t hard for any of us, even the three year-old, to find some seriously cute, comfortable and very stylish boots for all five of us. As H said the next day, “Those are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.” Clearly, the girls felt that way too as they all had them on again with their pajamas at breakfast the next morning. Three days later and I think they are melded to their three pairs of feet because they are still wearing them! Some shoes lovers have been born and I hold Ugg solely responsible.

The Comedian managed to get double or triple the candy at each stop. She complained, “My bags are so heavy my skeleton is breaking!”
The end of a fantastically fun and only a wee bit spooky night!
