Whatcha Wearing Wednesday – Hints of Caramel

Caramel cake infused with caramel syrup, topped with caramel buttercream frosting.  I’ve been dreaming of this cake and waiting for the right time to make it.  I’ve been given the task of making dessert the night before Thanksgiving when a lot of the family is already together.  Meaning it is finally caramel cake time!

I can only say it must be the inspiration for this week’s Whatcha Wearing Wednesday look too.

Clearly I have thoughts of golden butter, amber syrup and buttercream on my mind.

That’s not all!  I’m currently crushing on this little beauty.

NEVAwear sent me this Olivia Athletic Fit jacket (it comes in black, magenta and sky blue) and I am loving it! Not only does it have thumbholes, which is one of the first things I look for in a jacket but it has a great slim cut that is never bulky. It’s soft, thick and is made from a cotton/lycra mix that goes to work for you. There is some noticeable heft this this jacket when you pick it up.  When you put it on you don’t feel it at all.  Instead you notice the durability, hand-stitching and slimming effects that create a really well-made, sleek jacket.  Did I mention the pockets? They rock! They are so deep! Not only that but they zip up on the outside and inside there are two more deep, square pockets with no slant.  Meaning, nothing falls out!  Love that!

Can we talk about this fabulous jacket?

It’s the newest member in my fitness arsenal. I workout anywhere from 3-5 times a week. At least I try to, which sometimes is easier said than done.
