You all know that I love my natural products. I also love giving back, helping out in big and small ways. Shea Yeleen products came to my doorstep last month and I have been in love ever since. I mean, I opened the box up and just about swooned with the natural lavender scent that wafted up. It’s PHENOMENAL! Yet, it doesn’t overpower once you rub it in. LOVE! My favorite of the set of lip balms, body balm and soaps is by far the Lavender Honeysuckle Shea Butter Body Balm ($19). Oh my Lord, my wintry skin is just soaking this stuff up. It’s natural fair-trade beauty (purchase price goes towards sub-Saharan African women, the women who help create Shea Yeleen, getting actual living wages), people and also high quality. It’s like a tub of decadence that I get to dive into every day. YES! There is also a Lemongrass Peppermint version that I did not get to try.
The Honey Lip Balm ($3) seemed promising but needs to warm up to go on effectively. There are two other flavors, Coconut Peach and Apple that offer protection from dry lips. In addition there are Shea Yeleen soaps that range from unscented to Jasmine Sandalwood and Lemongrass Peppermint. All contain natural Shea Butter, which I find to be one of the best moisturizers around.
A definite love and must keep around in my beauty book!
