This week I focused on two products. One pulled through and the other didn’t perform as well as I would have liked. Which one was it? That’s where Rita Hazan (I love her products!) Root Concealer takes over. The spray concealer has a very thin nozzle to distribute the product and it does it in a fine pointed spray. Beware: color goes on dark! I would like to say that this root concealer worked for me, it didn’t wash off or rub off, just as promised but I couldn’t use it. I could only test it out in my sink. The color sent to me was for brown hair and I wasn’t about to spray dark brown root concealer onto my blond hair. Not even my ash roots. Forget it. However, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. It does stay put and hits only the area you need it to cover. I will probably purchase a bottle of the blond version myself later to ease the time between salon visits.
I have used Say Yes to products in the past and thought they worked OK for some and not always for me. The Say Yes to Grapefruit Dark Circle Correcting Eye Cream blew me away! I really was not expecting to like this slim little tube of plain, no fragrance cream. It has been so dry this winter that my eyes look tired, dry and even my eyebrows tend to flake. Yuck! This cream solved all those problems. Not greasy and easy to absorb it blended well and didn’t cause any eye make-up issues minutes later. After a week of using it I noticed my eyes did look less puffy in the morning, faster. The dark circles dissipated too. Less concealer was used each time I used it. After 3 weeks I was hooked! I would totally buy this eye cream again. It works in the harshest winter and warmer weather too.
