You see my “Real Mom Style” every week. I’m fairly basic in my love of classic looks that can pull double-duty when it comes to being a work at home mom. I have lots of inspiration in creating my looks. One place is the trio of ladies that makes up Real Mom Style and the women who link up here each week at Whatcha Wearing Wednesday. Let’s see what they are all up to, shall we?
That includes the Best of the Link Up from last week.
Our Style in Progress, is this week’s pick! Honestly, is there a better name for a blog about a mom on her fashion and style journey? Maggie’s ‘Mad for Plaid and Bow Heels’ post is a spot on mix of this season’s plaid trend, emerald green and some seriously cute heels.
I love it! I feel like I’m a continuous work in progress and my style changes with my lifestyle, body and age.

Want more Real Mom Style? It’s not coming from me. Eek! I’ve been too consumed with throwing a costume-filled Halloween birthday party for a six year-0ld in November (Happy Birthday to The Comedian) while caring for a household of five people (including me) who are all sick with at least four different illnesses that have ripped through my family in the last two weeks. My fashion is suffering, y’all. It’s been sweaters and boots and jeans most days while I try not to be Nurse Ratchet. The struggle is real.
Andrea from Momma in Flip Flops stying up her Ugg boots. She has many ways to do it and you have to check them out!
That doesn’t mean others have to suffer. Check out the link up I’m co-hosting with Real Mom Style (#realmomstyle)! Created by the fabulous duo of Momma in Flip Flops and That Chic Mom it’s a great place for every day looks that work, no matter what life throws at you.
