My Facebook feed is full of photos depicting my New England friends and family being crushed by Old Man Winter. Blizzards abound and while the snow hasn’t hit us yet here in the DC area we are still being subjected to frigid temperatures that suck all the moisture out of the air. Everything is drying out, including our skin and hair.
In addition to making hot toddy’s and endless cups of cocoa I’ve been fighting the harsh cold by with my latest find, Alberto VO5 Shine, Glow & Go Beauty Oil. It works on both body and hair and has quickly become my little winter savior. I have never had skin so soft during the winter as I do with this product. I actually can’t believe it. I haven’t used a Alberto VO5 product since the hot oil treatments in college.
The oil absorbs within minutes and works best after the a shower. What I find so incredible about it is that it has made my calloused feet soft again. In the dead of winter, feet that I run on and punish are no longer cracked and dry. The first few days I just kept touching them in amazement. The rest of my body doesn’t feel dry mid-day or by the time I go to bed either. It’s really lovely and a nice break from putting on lotions and creams twice a day.
More to love:
