When it comes to keeping up with my fitness I can be pretty serious. I eat right and give my body the fuel it needs per workout and pack healthy snacks to get through my day. I carry water with me everywhere to stay hydrated and healthy. If I’m running I’ll wear my running shoes instead of my cross-trainers. It’s all about using what you need and meeting the demands for that level of exercise. That means that even the products I use pre and post-workout have to work hard too.
ColorProof ‘DrySpell’ Color Protect Dry Shampoo is my go-to product on the mornings I head to the gym and don’t have time to wash my hair but just grab a quick shower after. I use it on the days I have to run out the door to get the kids to school and run errands but have no time to dry and style my hair. It’s a lifesaver! And works better than a lot of the dry shampoo products I have tested.
Why? I believe it’s the microfine powder of cornstarch, rice and clay. It doesn’t clump or show in my hair, even when I’ve been lax on color and my roots begin to show. It just sucks up oil and adds body while offering heat and color protection. Later, when I wash it out it doesn’t fight with the shampoo. It just rinses out fast. It really is one of my little secret weapon for making a style last and looking good before and after the gym.
Spring is coming and with it come the winds of March and the wet rains of April. Not my best hair moments. I often feel like I should just leave my hair in its postal even after the gym, if it is going to just end up a frizzy, deflated mess. However, I’m kind of in love with ColorProof Humidity Rx Anti-Frizz Weatherproof Spray. It’s an anti-frizz weatherproof spray that really works. Sometimes harder than me.
Even in the humid summer it kicks butt in repelling moisture and water by wrapping hair in water repelling polymers for maximum frizz control. It’s also really fine and has an Advanced ColorLast Systemtm provides unsurpassed color and heat protection. No sticky finish either. Just beautiful hair that looks as healthy as I’m trying to be each day.
