The Best Black Leggings

I love black leggings.  Particularly ones for, oh wait,  there’s no real guideline here. I love Spanx type that looks like leather or just cotton.  Fabletics capri or full-length black leggings for working out or just hanging around the house?  Adore.  That’s right.  And since this winter was endless and my disease makes me not want to wear anything that isn’t super comfy my black leggings have been in a heavy rotation.  I’ve gotten creative with my black leggings.

So let’s talk about my favorite black leggings.  You can wear them all year round.  And yes, I truly believe that black leggings are pants especially now that the athleisure trend is so hot.

In no particular order. They’re all AWESOME!

 

Terez Black Skull Foil leggings. I bought these in the fall and didn’t wear them for months.  I was clearly crazy because once I put them on I never wanted to take them off. There’s a bit of an 80s lycra sheen to them, the skulls are subtle AF, but if you know me you know I adore them.  I wear them to exercise or just whenever the mood strikes.

Two words. Date night.  These leather look leggings from Spanx hug and curve you in all the right places and look fantastic with boots or heels.  Every time I wear these black leggings I feel like a sharper version of myself.

OK, Girlfriend Collective. Have you heard of them?  I first read about them in the fitness section of Marie Claire over a year ago.  You could try them out and only pay the shipping.  Plus, wait a few months for them to actually be made.  The collective at GC has expanded since the first basic black leggings that I have but if these ever wear out I’ll be forking over the money for a new pair with no hesitation.  These barely make it out laundry basic before I am slipping them on again.  I wore them to my last massage.  Great decision.
