If you are into beauty products and skincare is kind of your thing then you know all about the charcoal beauty trend. Twice this summer the Wall Street Journal has published articles on the charcoal black substance and its popularity. For me, charcoal is something I have used for years and I love that now it is even easier to obtain.
My two charcoal beauty favorite products are Beautycounter No. 3 Balancing Facial Charcoal Mask and Shamanuti Charcoal Cleanser. That Beautycounter mask is the BEST way to detox your skin once a week. Not only that but it absolutely works wonders as a spot treatment for acne. I put a dot of it on a blemish that is coming in or already taking hold and it shrinks it almost immediately. AMAZING! Shea Moisture is another beauty favorite of mine when I cannot find Shamanuti.
