In 1992 I picked up an orange Ralph Lauren sweater from a Macy’s clearance sale. I wore that sweater until well into the 2000s. It was soft, warm and the color made me feel good. It wasn’t long after that I picked up a canvas windbreaker from J.Crew in the same orange hue. The 90s had a thing for orange. It’s no surprise that we are back here again. 2020 is all about orange.
It’s Orange and I’m in Love
Here are just a few of my favorite orange picks. Orange is a burst of color that makes you feel happy. It looks great on your tips or your toes. Pick out an orange tote, set of shades, or beach towel to take with you to the beach or pool this summer season.
Kick up your neutral stay-at-home look with some orange slides. There are so many ways to wear orange this season whether it’s laid back and casual with one of J.Crew’s orange sweatshirts or finding a great bag in this invigorating hue. It will also transition well into the fall season where a pumpkin shade is going to be all the rage.
