Fall is officially here! Unlike last year where I had zero desire to shop for fall looks or even care about the trends that might be happening, Fall 2021 is pure fun.
I’m excited to dive back into my closet, dust off my booties, and start wearing clothes that go beyond athleisure once again. Bring on the collar necklace to wear under the perfect white button-down shirt or sweater dress. Sling that new crossbody or bucket bag over your shoulder and head out into the crisp fall weather.

Is plaid ever out in the fall season? No. And it is always on trend for the holidays too. Are you into grand millennial style in your home? Yes, please! Then you are mad for plaid in decor too. Ginger jars anyone?
I’m still using my joggers in green, black, and navy to coordinate casual at-home outfits throughout my days. I like pairing them with my Madewell white sneakers or Vince slide-on sneakers in black. I’m on the hunt for a pink tulle skirt to pair with my leather jacket, combat-style boots, and black turtleneck. Those warm sweaters are back this fall too. Grab a shirt or sweater version here.
Style Inspo
I recently purchased the black blazer from Lioness off Shopbop and I’m in love. It had been on my wishlist all last year but I couldn’t bring myself to add anything to my closet that I knew I wasn’t going to use. I’ve always worked from home. 2020 and 2021 brought no changes there. What did change was my inability to travel for work on a fairly regular basis? This blazer is perfect for travel, work, and weekend wear. Plus, it has the added bonus of being very Princess Di style. The addition of straight leg, high-waisted jeans have brought back Diana’s late 90s style and I’m very happy to use it for inspiration. I could even pair that collar necklace with an LBD and dark stockings and black heels for more Diana style.
