Simple Ways to Show Your Body Some Self-Respect

We put our bodies through a lot. With so much value placed on our appearance in an effort to generate sales for beauty companies and clothing businesses, self-love is often inaccessible for many people. Fortunately, you don't need to feel incredibly confident about your body in order to show your body some respect. Here are a few ways you can help to kick self-hatred to the side and show your body some consideration. Surround yourself with art that looks like you One of the biggest reasons why we pick our bodies apart is because we don't often see people who look like us when we're scrolling through Instagram or flipping through Magazines. The 100 Deadliest Days: How to Protect Your Teen Driver

It's no secret that the COVID-19 pandemic has made summer 2020 unlike the rest. But one unfortunate feature of summer that's stayed the same is AAA's 100 Deadliest Days. The "100 Deadliest Days" refers to the period between Memorial Day and Labor Day during which driers, particularly teen drivers, are more likely to be involved in a car accident. Each year, there are nearly 6 million motor vehicle accidents on U.S. roads, 500,000 of which involve trucks, and approximately 3 million people are injured in those accidents. During the 100 Deadliest Days between 2008 and 2018, over 8,300 people died in car accidents involving teen drivers. That's about seven people a day every summer. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic hasn't curbed these deaths. According to AAA, the combination of … [Read more...]

Simple Ways To Save Money When Shopping Online

Right now, more people are shopping online than ever before. There are several reasons why online shopping was popular in the past, with a lot of people relying on it as a part of their regular shopping habits. Online shopping was seen as more convenient in many ways than going to the store, and it can often be easier to stay organized when shopping online, resulting in fewer impulse purchases. For many, this defeats the purpose when shopping online, and it's becoming an even stronger problem now that people are spending more time at home due to the pandemic. There is a major need for online shopping in this day and age, and not merely … [Read more...]
